I've traced my granfather and great granfather (Both called Samuel Glover) to Chorlton.

My granfather was born in Chorlton in 1916, had a brother called Eddie,a sister called Ada, and his mother was Ada Unsworth.

i am trying to track down any information abotu them and where they lived and stumbled across this site about Chorlton.

Would love it if anyone knew where i could find more details about them or otehr members of their family tat come from the same area?

What a fantastic site...chorlton is such a great place I just love the people and the general atmosphere it's clean it's green and it's so diverse in fact I love chorlton so much I'm opening a different type of bar there! Once again fantastic site just typed in google history of chorlton...this site is bang on and I will be posting the link on my Facebook wall,,, :D

What a great website. Nice to see the history of Chorlton preserved for posterity. Love looking at all the old photos and reading about Chorlton's past. I have lived in Chorlton all my life and there is no other place like it.
